About this tea

Orthodox is the older way of making tea: the leaf is rolled rather than cut, kept long and whole. It takes longer and yields less, which is why most tea is not made this way.

What you get is a tea with aroma. Where CTC gives strength, orthodox long leaf gives character — a deeper, rounder cup with a malty note.

This is not your regular kadak chai, and it is not meant to be. Infuse half a teaspoon in hot water for four to five minutes, stir and filter. Taste it plain first.

For tea enthusiasts seeking rich aroma and flavour.

Sold loose in 250g.

How we brew it
