About this tea
This is the everyday tea — chai patti for the morning cup, the one that has to stand up to milk, sugar and a long boil.
Sourced from Upper Assam. The CTC method crushes, tears and curls the leaf into small granules that give up their colour and strength quickly. Ours carries a fruity note underneath the briskness.
Everyone makes kadak chai their own way. Our way: water and milk in a 2:1 ratio, brought to the boil with your sweetener, then a teaspoon of chai patti and some time on a simmered flame. Add your choice of spices while it boils, or a pinch of our Special Tea Masala.

How we brew it
The Indian classic chai. The best way to brew it is the way you love it — everyone has their own way to make kadak milk chai. My choice: add water and milk in a 2:1 ratio. Boil it and add your sweetener. When it starts boiling, add a teaspoon of chai patti and let it boil for some time on a simmered flame. Filter it and enjoy. You can add your choice of spices while boiling the tea.
